Book NowBe swarmed by our friendly Blue Cod and Yellow Eye mullet while hand feeding them. A great experience for kids and adults. Only a short 15 minute boat ride from Picton to Double Cove Fish Reserve, a beautiful little bay protected from the wind and always flat calm. We supply you with warm wetsuits, mask, snorkel and fins, plus a bit of instruction on their use. Ideal for non divers and families.
A great way to experience the Marlborough Sounds and have a close up encounter with some very curious fish, plus the odd duck.

This is our signature tour and one that most divers do not want to miss. Includes one night’s accommodation and meals at the Lermontov Dive Lodge.
Reporting Time in Picton: 5.00pm
Return to Picton: by 6pm (next day)
Frequency: Every Tuesday/Wednesday and Sat/Sunday from October to end of April. On demand throughout May to September. Other days available for groups of 3 or more.
Minimum Experience Rating: Open-water, with logged cold water dives
Number of Dives: Two guided dives(third dive optional)
Maximum Divers per Guide: Five
Recommendations/Requirements: If you are not used to diving in a 7mm wetsuit/drysuit and temperate waters, we require that you do an equipment and temperate water orientation dive prior to diving the Lermontov. These can be arranged on request and completed during the tour.

Sites visited on this tour may include the historical wrecks of Cape Jackson, Waihi Point Reef, Long Island Marine Reserve, or Wellington Bay. All these dives are shallow dives reaching a depth of 18 metres (60 feet) maximum with most of dive conducted around 10 metres (33 feet) we will also stop over for a 1 hour lunch break at the historical Ships Cove. Suitable for non divers and snorkelers.

from May to October
Minimum Experience Rating: Open water or equivalent
Includes: Equipment if required and lunch

Maximum Divers per Guide: Six
Ideal for those who do not have the time for a full day tour or for those who have just learnt to dive or want to familiarise themselves with temperate waters before booking on to a Lermontov dive tour or similar. Suitable for non divers.
Reporting Time: 8.45am and 12.45pm
Return: 12pm and 4pm
Frequency: Daily from November to April, on demand
from May to October.
Minimum Experience Rating: Suitable
for non divers, or those with little experience.
